Facilities Development

BlueprintsThe DxF is growing.  Would your organization like to grow along with us?  Here is the future envisioned for the DxF from the context of brick and mortar facilities.

Types of Facilities and their Progression

The Diagnosis Foundation (DxF) has three Major Program Areas: Testing, Education, R & D.  These activities will be carried out in a wide range of facilities appropriate to their specific needs and developed in a progressive fashion. Initially, the DxF will be carrying out their short term programs using temporary facilities with minimal space requirements.  As the DxF grows and needs larger, long term facilities with specific resources, DxF Liaisons, existing collaborators, and other interested individuals, organizations and/or governments will be invited to work with us in developing these facilities.  Examples of these types of DxF facilities are outlined in the table below.

Shared vs. Independent Facilities

Facilities will be a mix of loaned, leased, partnered and owned by the DxF depending on the activity and stage of development.

  • Loaned – The DxF is looking for businesses and organization to host temporary projects for operating preliminary program activities.  (hours to days)
  • Leased / Partnered – For longer term projects (months to years), the DxF will be looking to lease or partner with like minded organization.
  • Ownership – Permanent local, regional and national facilities will be solely owned by the DxF although they may be co-located with strategic members of the DxF family.
  • Administration and online activities – will initially be based out of an independently based DxF headquarters.  These activities will relocate to owned facilities as they become available.

Number & Location of Facilities

Currently, the DxF testing program is holding initial or repeat screenings at venues in the Long Island, Metro NY area with tours beginning now to the surrounding states.  The DxF educational program is also underway with its own set of facilities requirements.

Over the next few months, we will be looking for venues to host the DxF for a few hours or days at a time to do:

  • Screenings – along the east coast of the US
  • Examinations – where candidates taking their certifications exam would go for their practical as well as proctored online written exams
  • Seminars
  • Tutoring

Each of these activities will need local people who are trained in the screening programs, certification practical examinations to serve as examiners, lecturers, tutors and support staff.  As more people become trained in these testing and educational programs, additional facilities will be needed in the regions where these people are concentrated.   When establishing a new facility at any level, preferences will be given to organizations that have an established history with the DxF.  In this manner, the DxF will grow.
